01. INSIGHT

Established back in 2014 by Roz Wallis, Chiswickpots has grown organically from a hobby to a business and is now a working artists studio / pottery school based with the Chiswick Art School, Chiswick, W4.

Chiswickpots offers a wide range of ceramic and pottery classes, including: Introduction to pottery/taster classes, Intermediate Throwing, Sculpture, Hand Building, Raku and Mastering the Art of Glazing.

02.VISION

To support business expansion Roz’s vision was to increase her reach and visibility by showcasing her own personal ceramic art and classes to a global audience, reaching customer beyond the local areas, making it easier for potential customers to find, book classes and purchase her art forms.

In addition to this, to establish a pottery community with sharing latest news, classes, events and exhibtions across a multi-channel marking platforms such as Instagram and Email.

03. REBRAND / BRAND GUIDELINES

A key tool to help you ensure a cohesive and consistent styling for your company across all online and offline channels, regardless of the size of your business. Having consistent branding through brand guidelines, helps you to create a strong brand personality, which in turn builds your brand value. It’s also easier for clients to continue to maintain their brand’s image now, and well into the future.

04. WEBSITE

The Primary focus in re-designing the Chiswickpots website was to improve functionality (E-commerce capability and stock inventory) and inject some life into its visual presentation creating a more elegant and appealing look and feel. I decided it would be more cost and time efficient to re-build the site from scratch rather than risking the inherited design and site structure limitations. I built the site to be fully responsive using the Squarespace platform, so it works effectively across all devices. Mobile, tablet and desktop. To improve the overall appearance of the site Roz commissioned a talented photographer to capture images of her art forms that can also be used across all channels including all print based materials.

05. SOCIAL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS

To support the yearly Artists At Home weekend event, where local artists within Chiswick, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush open up their homes to the public to showcase and sell their art, I designed a selection of social templates to promote Roz’s artwork and location for her to use via her social platforms. Supporting the new Chiswickpots style guide and brand colour palette, also incorporating the Artist At Home brand logo for visual identity.

06. EMAIL MARKETING

For a small independent business E-mail marketing is a relatively inexpensive compared to other marketing methods with the benefits of reaching a potential large audience. Driving customer engagement and loyalty with providing a direct line of communication within the pottery community in sharing updates, events and exhibitions as well new product launches.
